=============================================================================

Ron Wambolt has been publicly requesting the current city council explain the reason for voting on certain subjects - appointment of a council vacancy, interim ordinance to Chapter 20, approval of the Mayor's candidate for appointment to the Planning Board. He claims the Council is meeting in secret and making decisions outside an open public meeting.

Did the Mayor ask for your vote Ron to remove Agenda Item 9 at before the November 2, 2009 City Council Meeting? You didn't state your reason for removing this published and scheduled item. There were over 50 citizens that wanted to testify and provide public comment that evening.

The Mayor in his announcement of the Executive Session said no council action would be taken. But from the meeting minutes a reasonable person could assume there was a vote taken to remove agenda item 9 prior to the Council reconvening in the Council chambers.
